Female Dormitory
Although the first floor has been in use for some years, the second floor is now nearing completion.
The female dormitory is being built in memory of Erma Grove, a Mennonite missionary who spent over a decade at Good News teaching and leading the seminary. The Mennonite Mission Network raised funds to lay the foundation, built the first floor and some parts of the second floor. The University Mennonite Church in State College, PA, and Maple Grove Mennonite Church in Belleville, PA have jointly committed themselves to complete the structure. Remaining to be done are: fixing the doors to prevent intruders from having access to the building, finishing the interior of the second floor, fix the doors, windows frames, louvres frames, louvres, electrical fittings, ceilings, plastering, screeding, painting, etc. We are excited that the building is taking shape. We are very grateful to the two congregations who have committed themselves to complete the project. We are also grateful to the Mennonite Mission Network for its coordination.
