Female Dormitory
Although the first floor has been in use for some years, the second floor is now nearing completion.
We are excited that the female dormitory is taking shape. It is being built in memory of Erma Grove, a Mennonite missionary who spent over a decade at Good News teaching and leading the seminary.
The Mennonite Mission Network raised funds to lay the foundation, built the first floor and some parts of the second floor. The University Mennonite Church in State College, PA, and Maple Grove Mennonite Church in Belleville, PA have jointly committed themselves to complete the structure. When fully completed it will provide accommodation for nearly seventy women. The major financiers are Mennonite Mission Network, University Mennonite Church, State College, PA and Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, PA.
We are very grateful to the two congregations who have committed themselves to complete the project. We are also grateful to the Mennonite Mission Network for its coordination.
